We are actively hiring for Direct Support Professionals at our Residential Treatment Facility for children and adolescents.Note:
This role is onsite at our location in Simpsonville, SC. The Benefits of Joining Broadstep:

About the Company:
Broadstep has been a leader in providing a continuum of physical, emotional, and mental support for children and adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities (I/DD), mental illness, and co-occurring disorders for over 45 years.
Broadstep’s South Carolina programs provide comprehensive behavioral health services to individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities, mental illness, and other diagnoses that may impact their behaviors. We are a family-friendly, individual-focused behavioral healthcare program of group homes and vocational day programs.
- BOTH AM and PM shifts available in Simpsonville, SC
- AM Shift: 6am-: 6pm-6am
- Rotating Schedule – you work only 7 days out of 14!
- Assist individuals with daily activities such as meal preparation, personal hygiene and medication administration. ng individuals on outings and activities.
- Continually remain active, alert and able to respond to all scenarios.
- Utilize various verbal and physical behavioral interventions.
- Document behaviors, activities, and incidents.
- Work as part of a multidisciplinary team, including operations, clinical and support therapeutic and behavioral plans for our individuals.
- Provide and ensure complete service delivery in a healthy and safe manner that supports Broadstep’s vision, mission, and values.
Skills:
- High school diploma or GED
- Must be 21 years of age.
- Must be able to pass a background check, drug screening, physical, and TB test.
- Possess patience and excellent communication.
- Basic computer skills
- Four (4) weeks of paid time off in your first year
