New Therapy Perspectives, LLC is "The" provider of quality intensive outpatient services. We provide custom, confidential, and comprehensive care both in-person and virtually to those affected by a multitude of mental health challenges as well as those who are affected by substance use disorders. We provide intensive outpatient services to adults and teens who suffer from mental health, substance abuse, emotional conditions, and mental health and substance abuse co-occurring disorders.

Job Details

Title: Associate Therapist, Mental Health and Counseling - Part Time

Description:

Under the Supervision of an Independently Licensed Practitioner of the Healing Arts. Mental Health Clinician/Therapist provides intensive clinical therapeutic services to individuals with identified mental health, emotional health or substance abuse conditions. Therapist is responsible for engaging clients and their families/significant others through the Mental Health and the Substance Dependency treatment process. Therapist completes the Initial Bio-Psychosocial Comprehensive Assessment, conducts Intensive Outpatient Group Therapy Sessions, and participates in treatment planning to ensure that the needs of clients and families are met throughout the continuity of care.

Responsibilities
  • Engage clients and their families/significant others through the Mental Health and Substance Dependency treatment process.
  • Complete the Initial Bio-Pychosocial Comprehensive Assessment.
  • Conduct Intensive Outpatient Group Therapy Sessions.
  • Participate in treatment planning to ensure that the needs of clients and families are met throughout the continuity of care.
Requirements
  • A Master’s Degree in the field of Mental Health, Social Work, Psychology, Counseling, or a Human Service-related field, from an accredited college/university
  • Must be a licensed mental health professional (e.g., LMSW, LMHC-A, LMFT-A, LPC-A, LMSW or Psy.

    D)
  • Must be eligible to achieve Independent Licensure under the supervision and direction of one of our Independently Licensed Practitioner of the Healing Arts.
  • Able to pass a Level II background check.
  • Valid driver's license with clean driving record and state minimum required vehicle insurance coverage
  • Being bilingual is not required but is a preferred skill for this position.
Recommended
  • 1 year or greater experience providing individual, group and/or family therapeutic services.
