Job Title: Tax Advisor
Location: Greenville or Simpsonville, SC, with the ability to travel to Greenville, Simpsonville, and Spartanburg, SC
Employment Type: Full-Time, in office M-F, 8 am-5 pm
Role BlueprintThe Enrolled Agent (EA) is a trusted tax strategist and planning partner within the firm, responsible for delivering proactive, high-impact tax planning for high-net-worth individuals and families. This role integrates advanced tax analysis, investment-related tax strategy, and risk management planning, all executed within a fiduciary-first framework.
The EA operates at the intersection of tax, planning, and execution—identifying opportunities, recommending solutions, and managing implementation with precision, discipline, and complete documentation.
Compensation & Incentive Structure- Base Salary (Onboarding Period): $70,000 – $85,000, commensurate with experience and credentials.
- Post-Onboarding Compensation Model:
- Reduced or phased base salary
- Revenue sharing on tax planning fees collected
- Commission sharing on life insurance cases recommended, written, processed, and placed in force by the EA
- Compensation is designed to reward high-quality planning, execution, and client outcomes while maintaining fiduciary integrity and regulatory compliance.
This position is foundational to the firm’s advanced planning offering. The Enrolled Agent directly influences client outcomes, revenue growth, and the firm’s reputation for disciplined, proactive, and compliant planning.
Compensation: $70,000 - $85,000 yearly
