MAU is hiring a Qualification Engineer
for our client in Greenville, SC. As a Qualification Engineer, you will lead equipment, parts, and process qualification activities while supporting supply chain, engineering, and capacity ramp initiatives.
This is a contract, long-term assignment (18 months) with potential for direct hire.

Shift Information
  • Monday – Friday | 7:30 AM – 4:30 PM
Required

Education and Experience
  • Bachelor of Science in Engineering.
Preferred Experience
  • 2-3 years of turbine engineering and/or manufacturing experience
  • Well-versed in lean manufacturing methods
  • Experience interfacing across matrix organizations
  • Experience and familiarity with advanced manufacturing processes

Essential Functions
  • Creating Qualification standards in alignment with the Global Supply Chain and Engineering
  • Managing dates and scope for equipment purchases, installation, and qualification
  • Attending/Facilitating Kaizens and Roadmaps to support the capacity ramp
  • This position requires strong leadership, teamwork, and communication skills, as well as a passion for quality and continuous improvement
  • Lead qualifications from inception to closure, parts, and special processes (coatings, brazing, etc.)
  • Apply knowledge of design and manufacturing to implement new ideas that enhance the overall qualification process, reduce cost, and add value
  • Identify and implement qualification cost out opportunities
  • Regional, and in some cases, global: shop support
  • Cultivate a positive working environment and morale; drive a sense of urgency and quality with speed
