Job Title: Lead Structural Engineer / Project Manager

Job Description:

We are seeking a Lead Structural Engineer / Project Manager to manage multiple structural engineering projects. The ideal candidate will oversee project development, coordinate with internal teams, and ensure the successful delivery of structural designs for building construction and renovation projects. Flexibility and interest in varied project types are essential. The role requires thriving in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment and having strong project management skills.

Responsibilities:

• Manage and lead structural engineering projects from design through completion
• Oversee development of structural contract documents, including drawings and specifications
• Manage support staff and coordinate project workflows
• Ensure projects meet quality, budget, and schedule requirements
• Work independently and proactively to solve technical and management challenges

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering (or equivalent)
• SC PE license
• 8+ years of experience in structural project management
• Experience managing support staff
• Experience overseeing development of structural contract documents for new building and renovation/rehabilitation design
• Revit experience preferred, but not required
• RAM Structural System or ETABS experience preferred, but not required
• Professional communication skills
• Enthusiasm and a drive to exceed expectations
