Thomas & Hutton is a growing professional services firm providing civil, environmental, structural, marine engineering, land surveying, land planning, landscape architecture, GIS and construction administration. We have an opening for a motivated and driven Civil Engineer - Designer - Engineer in Training in Greenville, SC.
ResponsibilitiesCivil designers prepare site development construction drawings, engineering design considerations for water, sewer, and storm drainage infrastructure, and permit applications for residential, commercial, and industrial projects. Client interaction occurs regularly and excellent communication skills are required.
Minimum Requirements- 3+ years designing land development projects using Civil 3D
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering
- EIT Certification or ability to receive certification within 6 months
- Working knowledge of AutoCAD and Civil 3D
- Ability to communicate verbally and in writing
- Regular schedule 7:30AM‑5:30PM Mon‑Thu and 7:30AM‑11:30AM Fri
- Proven ability to multi‑task, prioritize workflow and complete tasks
- Highly client‑service oriented, self‑starter, team player
- Problem‑solving skills
