F-Test Pilot-Level 5

Overview

Lockheed Martin Flight Operations is looking for an F-16 Test Pilot to join a dynamic flight operations team that supports worldwide fighter aircraft test and production.

We want a person who is willing to provide leadership, apply technical acumen, and make the team better.

You will be assigned to the F-16 Block 70 production facility located in Greenville, SC, but you will also have the opportunity to support F-16 flight test worldwide.

• Fly Acceptance Check Flights (ACFs) on new Block 70 production aircraft.
• Fly other missions such as experimental, developmental, engineering flight test, test support, and customer demonstration flights and others as assigned. Flight test may occur at Greenville, Ft Worth, or many different international locations.
• Be a subject matter expert on all aspects of the F-16.
• Be a subject matter expert for flight test to include flight test planning, run card development, test execution and reporting.
• Participate in Pilot Vehicle Interface (PVI) development, requirements development, and market assist.
• Coordinate with the Production Operations team, Program Office, Government Flight Representative, Flight Safety, chase aircraft, and Base Operations personnel for all matters required to schedule and conduct ground checks/tests, taxi events, and flights.
• Serve as Supervisor of Flying (SOF) for other company pilots’ activities.

Must be a US Citizen. This position is located at a facility that requires special access.

• Familiarity with F-16 contractor program requirements
• Extensive knowledge of F-16 systems for various blocks and models of aircraft
• F-16 Functional Check Flight Pilot
• Outstanding interpersonal skills, excellent leadership traits, strong oral and written communication abilities, solid ability to organize, and a high desire to provide customer satisfaction
• Comfortable working with Comms and PR in front of a camera
