OverviewAs a student intern within the HDGT Services Sourcing team for the MEASA region, you will contribute to strategic initiatives focused on supplier localization, procurement analysis, and process automation with both Strategic and OTR Sourcing teams. Your work will support sourcing strategies that strengthen local supply chains, improve data-driven decision-making, and enhance efficiency across GE Vernova’s global operations.
What You’ll Do (Responsibilities)- Support supplier market research and localization efforts across priority MEASA countries.
- Assist with procurement data collection, consolidation, and analysis to support sourcing strategies.
- Contribute to supplier qualification and risk assessment activities.
- Develop and enhance dashboards, analytic reports, and tools for sourcing performance tracking.
- Partner with the wider sourcing functional team in the region to drive continuous improvement, process automation and digitalization initiatives.
- Prepare presentations and reports summarizing sourcing insights for leadership reviews.
- Collaborate with global and regional sourcing colleagues to align best practices and share findings.

- Must be enrolled in a full-time undergraduate or graduate program in Business, Supply Chain Management, Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3.0 cumulative GPA (without rounding)
- Must have the ability to work in the US for an unlimited amount of time without sponsorship.
- Demonstrated analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Effective written and verbal communication skills in English; any other language is a plus.
- Experience with data visualization and reporting tools (e.g., Power BI, Smartsheet, or similar).
- Interest in the energy or power generation sector.
- Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to work independently.
- Passion for innovation and process improvement within global supply chains.
