KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

* ** 3D Modeling:
** Creating and updating detailed 3D models of electrical systems using BIM software.
* ** Layout Assistance:
** Facilitate communication between field and BIM Technicians by reviewing field markups and ensuring all the information needed for modeling is being captured.
* ** Model Coordination:
** Integrating design information from various disciplines (structural, mechanical, electrical, etc.) into the 3D model.
* ** Clash Detection:
** Identifying and resolving spatial conflicts or clashes between different building components using clash detection tools.
* ** Constructability Reviews:
** Evaluating the feasibility of construction based on the 3D model and providing feedback to improve the design.
* ** Construction Documentation:
** Generating drawings, schedules, and visualizations from the 3D model to support construction planning and execution.
* *
* Collaboration:

** Working closely with VDC project managers, engineers, supers and construction PMs to ensure alignment between digital designs and on-site realities.
* ** Supporting Project Teams:
** Providing 3D visualizations, clash reports, and other information to aid decision-making and project execution.
* ** Travel:
** About 50% of time traveling, with the possibility of extended periods of time stationed at a job site.

REQUIRED SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS:

* Experience using Navisworks.
* Sound understanding of electrical construction methods and terminology, building codes, and industry standards.
* Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
* Ability to analyze and interpret electrical design information.
* Problem-solving skills to address clashes and constructability issues.
* Attention to detail and ability to work independently and as part of a team.
* Ability to manage single tasks effectively and meet deadlines.

DESIRED SKILLS AND

QUALIFICATIONS:

* Electrical construction experience.
* Understanding of BIM principles and workflows desired.
* Experience with the use of 3D modeling software.
