Job Overview

We are looking for a passionate and proactive Electrical Controls Engineer II to join our team. In this role, you’ll have the opportunity to work directly with cutting‑edge technologies, lead improvement projects, and maintain electrical and control systems that drive our daily operations.

Duties
- Lead and execute electrical engineering projects related to equipment design, installation, integration, and support.
- Modify and troubleshoot electrical control circuits and PLC/HMI programs (Allen-Bradley and Siemens).
- Perform root cause analysis and develop corrective action plans.
- Support preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance of plant equipment.
- Manage capital projects focused on electrical infrastructure and process control.
- Ensure compliance with electrical safety standards (NFPA 70E) and internal policies.
- Collaborate with maintenance and health, safety, and environmental teams to improve operations.
- Train and provide technical support to maintenance technicians.
- Support medium and high voltage power distribution systems (480V and 4160V).
Qualifications
- Bachelors degree in Electrical Engineering or related field (required).
- Minimum of 3 years experience in manufacturing environments (required).
- Experience with Allen-Bradley PLCs, HMIs, and variable speed drives (required).
- Knowledge of Siemens PLCs and Wonder Ware is a plus.
- Familiarity with electrical safety standards and arc flash hazards.
- Ability to read electrical schematics and use AutoCAD.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Six Sigma or Lean Manufacturing certifications are a plus.
- Authorization to work in the U.S.
