Mechanical Estimator

Responsibilities

• Analyze and interpret blueprints, specifications, and technical drawings to develop detailed cost estimates.
• Calculate material quantities, labor hours, equipment needs
  , and subcontractor costs for mechanical systems (HVAC, piping, plumbing).
• Prepare and submit competitive bid proposals for industrial and commercial projects.
• Evaluate and price change orders, revisions, and scope adjustments
  .
• Collaborate with Project Managers and Assistant PMs to refine estimates and support proposal development.
• Maintain and update cost databases
  , vendor pricing, and historical project data.
• Participate in pre-bid meetings
  , site visits, and client presentations as needed.

• Minimum 7 years of experience in mechanical estimating within industrial/construction/MEP environments.
• Strong understanding of mechanical systems
  , construction methods, and industry standards.
• Proficiency in estimating software (e.g., Bluebeam, Trimble, Quote soft, or similar).
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills

• Strong verbal and written communication abilities.
• Proven ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment
