Base Pay Range$91,400.00/yr – $/yr
LocationUnited States – any location. The ideal candidate will be near a Jacobs U.S. office, but we intend to hire the best candidates regardless of distance.
Responsibilities- Support electrical design for state‑of‑the‑art manufacturing and data center facilities.
- Accountable for scope, schedule, budget, and technical quality of engineering deliverables.
- Recognize and communicate scope and design changes promptly.
- Provide site assistance during startup, coordinate work activities with other staff and discipline leads.
- Produce single‑line diagrams, electric room layouts, motor control elementaries, cable tray plans, grounding/embedded conduit plans, cable schedules, lighting and power plans, and panel schedules.
- Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Electrical Engineering or Renewable Energy Engineering.
- At least 5 years of Electrical Engineering experience.
- Engineer in Training (EIT) certification.
- Experience in manufacturing, petrochemical, and industrial facilities.
- Working knowledge of Revit, Navisworks, and/or Revizto.
- Professional Engineering License (PE) preferred.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills.
- Forward‑thinking, eager to learn best practices, and contribute innovative ideas.
- Rapid learning ability and drive to broaden knowledge base.
- Ability to collaborate and work effectively across multi‑disciplinary teams.
- Passion for buildings and construction.
