Base pay range

$69,500.00/yr - $95,500.00/yr

We are looking for an Instrumentation and Controls Engineer who is excited about working on projects that enable the heart of our clients’ business, including state‑of‑the‑art industrial and commercial facilities.

Responsibilities
  • Accountable for the schedule and technical quality of challenging engineering tasks, gaining familiarity with the client’s expectations, scope, budget, and schedule.
  • Provide on‑site assistance during startup, coordinate work activities with other staff members and the discipline lead.
  • Help design and optimize control systems for a variety of processes, working closely with architects, engineers, and designers to deliver complete, world‑class solutions for new facilities.
  • Develop P&IDs, size valves, specify instrumentation, and document and model design information while ensuring compliance with building codes and industry standards.
  • Produce control system designs for a variety of processes, developing options and optimizations for all aspects of process control, instrumentation, and automation.
  • Collaborate in a highly interactive, multi‑disciplinary team and leverage mentorship opportunities.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Control Systems, or Electrical Engineering.
  • At least 2 years of experience working with Instrumentation and Control.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Working knowledge of DDC, PLC, DCS, and other control applications.
  • Experience working with Data Centers.
  • Engineer in Training (EIT).
  • Strong communication skills both verbal and written.
  • Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills.
  • Forward‑thinking, eager to learn best practices, and contributes with innovative ideas.
  • Displayed ability to learn quickly and driven to broaden knowledge base.
  • Ability to collaborate and work effectively in a variety of teams, including multi‑disciplinary teams.
  • Passion for buildings and construction.
