About the Role
We’re hiring a Civil CAD Drafter to support site development projects (commercial/industrial/institutional). You’ll transform engineer redlines into clean, constructible plans, profiles, grading layouts, utility sheets, and details using AutoCAD Civil 3D
. This is a hands-on drafting role—
not a civil designer
—but you’ll need solid civil knowledge to anticipate plan impacts, maintain standards, and coordinate with multi-discipline teams (civil/structural/MEP).

What You’ll Do

• Draft site, grading, erosion/sediment control, utilities, and stormwater plan sets in Civil 3D
  .

• Build and maintain sheet sets, xrefs, labels, and styles to company standards.

• Convert engineer redlines to plan-ready drawings
  ; perform basic quantity checks, callouts, and details.

• Prepare permit-ready PDFs (naming conventions, scales, plotting, and title blocks).

• Coordinate with engineers and other disciplines; support QA/QC and periodic site-visit documentation
  .

Must-Have Qualifications

• 1–5+ years of civil CAD drafting experience (site development).

• Strong AutoCAD Civil 3D skills (surfaces, alignments, corridors, profiles, pipe/pressure networks, labeling).

• Proven experience producing full plan sets (plan & profile, grading, utilities, details).

• Ability to follow standards, take redlines, and manage multiple deadlines professionally.

Nice-to-Have (Pluses)

• Familiarity with stormwater
  /grading concepts and local submittal formats.

• Exposure to construction administration workflows (submittals/field markups).

• Revit/BIM awareness, bluebeam/mark-ups, or basic GIS.

Schedule
Mon–Thu 7:30a–5:30p
, Fri 7:30a–11:30a (flex 4x10 option after onboarding).
