Job DescriptionBiomedical Equipment Technician - Greenville, South Carolina
This position will be responsible for customer relationship management through the effective use of technical knowledge to install, troubleshoot, service, and maintain equipment at customer sites; generate service revenue; adhere to state and federal regulatory requirements.
Responsibilities- Perform preventative maintenance and service repair on equipment utilizing the service manual, on-the-job training (OJT), OEM or third-party training.
- Identify and resolve customer issues, providing appropriate communication and involving the appropriate site service personnel.
- Maintain customer satisfaction as a primary goal; demonstrate ownership in difficult circumstances and urgency to deliver results; assess priorities communicated by the Site Manager, the Site Team, or the customer to establish priorities.
- Independently complete PMs, Field Change Orders (FCOs), installations, and related tasks; independently diagnose and resolve electronic, network, and mechanical problems and customer issues.
- You have one or more years of experience servicing medical equipment; experience with general biomedical equipment, patient monitoring, blood pressure monitors, defibrillators, or infusion pumps is highly preferred.
- Associates degree in electronics or equivalent combination of education and experience; BSEE/BSEET/BSME/BSMET preferred.
- Knowledge of electronic circuit boards, schematics, processors, and computer hardware; ability to understand and apply electronic, mechanical, and networking theory to install, diagnose, and repair equipment; knowledge and use of necessary tools and test equipment.
- Ability to perform the following minimum Physical, Cognitive and Environmental job requirements with or without accommodation for Field Service position.
- Ability to work flexible hours (including overtime, weekends, and on-call rotations) and safely work with radiation sources and/or radioactive materials; wear required personal protective equipment.
We believe we are better together than apart. For office-based teams, in-person work is required at least 3 days per week. Onsite roles require full-time presence in the company’s facilities. Field roles are typically outside of the main facilities, at customers’ or suppliers’ locations. This is a Field role.

The hourly pay range for this position in South Carolina is $19.87 to $31.79, plus overtime eligible. This role also includes on-call pay, training, and advancement opportunities. The actual base pay offered may vary within the posted ranges depending on multiple factors including job-related knowledge/skills, experience, business needs, geographical location, and internal equity.
In addition, other compensation, such as an annual incentive plan, field service incentive bonus, sales commission or long-term incentives may be offered.
