JOB SUMMARY:
Provide training and technical assistance to the teaching staff from birth to five in the Early Childhood Development Service Area by the Office of Head Start (OHS) Regulations.

QUALIFICATIONS: Bachelor’s Degree in Early Childhood Education or related field required;
Master’s degree preferred. Expertise in Early Childhood Education and Early Childhood Development is required.

Three (3) years of management/supervisory level experience in a program that provides services to children from birth to five and their families is required. Demonstrates the ability to communicate effectively, verbally and in writing, in several forums. Prior Head Start/Early Head Start experience preferred. Prior experience in program planning, development, and evaluation. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Valid South Carolina driver’s license and acceptable driving record.

Reliability in Class for each age group served. Must be able to lift 55 pounds, stoop, kneel, and move without limitations.
