Instead, you ll coach small cohorts of self-motivated learners eager to accelerate, explore deeper, and take ownership of their academic journey. • Engaging students daily through direct mentorship and motivation—no traditional lecturing, only impactful peer-style coaching
• Leveraging adaptive learning technology and AI-driven platforms to support individualized learning progression
• Facilitating focused small-group sessions on life skills, leadership development, and practical success frameworks
• Guiding students to identify personal strengths and broaden their aspirations via tailored growth roadmaps
• Shaping the evolution of Alpha's educational approach by contributing data, observations, and innovative thinking

• Inspiring elementary-aged students to engage deeply with learning while achieving 2x acceleration through AI-enhanced methods

• Availability to work on-site in Palo Alto, CA;

• Bachelor s degree in any discipline
• Proven track record of exceptional achievement (e.g. top academic honors, D1/Olympic athletics, national competitions, etc.)
• 3 years of direct experience with K–8 students in mentoring, coaching, or instructional roles
• Excellent communication and public speaking abilities
• Legal authorization to work in the U.S. without visa sponsorship

Working with us This is a full-time (40 hours per week), long-term position. The position is immediately available and requires entering into an independent contractor agreement with Crossover as a Contractor of Record. The compensation level for this role is $60 USD/hour, which equates to $120,000 USD/year assuming 40 hours per week and 50 weeks per year. The payment period is weekly.
