Position Details:
Patient Population: Adult and Geriatric
Setting: Free-Standing Cancer Center (Outpatient with inpatient coverage as needed)
Responsibilities: Outpatient medical oncology care, inpatient rounding as applicable, participation in tumor board, management of bone marrow transplants and blood bank, ordering tests and imaging, prescribing medications
Required Procedures: Chemotherapy oversight (administered by nurse oncologists)
EMR System: Epic
Support Staff: APP support available
Days Per Month: Not specified
On-Call/Weekends: No call during locum assignment
Submission Requirements:
Board Certified in Hematology & Oncology
Active South Carolina medical license
BLS and DEA
NPDB Self-Query (within the last 30 days)
