Required Skills:

• Medical Degree (MD or DO) from an accredited institution
• Valid medical license in South Carolina
• Proven experience in oncology, including outpatient and inpatient settings
• Proficiency with EMR systems, specifically EPIC
• Strong communication and patient management skills
• Ability to participate effectively in multidisciplinary tumor boards and complex treatment planning
• Knowledge of chemotherapy administration and management of blood and marrow transplants

Nice to Have

Skills:

• Experience with bone marrow transplants
• Prior involvement in tumor boards or multidisciplinary oncology teams
• Additional certifications in Oncology (e.g., OCN)
• Familiarity with hospital-based oncology procedures and protocols

Preferred

Education and Experience:

• Board-certified or board-eligible in Hematology/Oncology
• Minimum of 2 years of clinical experience in oncology practice
• Experience working in outpatient and hospital inpatient settings

Other Requirements:

• Credentialing within approximately 60 days
• Ability to work weekdays from 8:30 am to 4:30 pm
• Willingness to participate in occasional tumor board meetings and inpatient consults
• Travel and related expenses covered when applicable, including flights, hotels, rental cars, and mileage at IRS standard rates
