Blue Cloud Pediatric Surgery Centers, LLC is seeking a Registered Dental Assistant to work with pediatric and special needs patients in our ambulatory surgery center.

• Assist and anticipate needs of the dentist and anesthesia provider with instruments, sutures, sponges, and supplies.
• Prepare dental surgical cases: pick supplies and equipment, ensure availability, and maintain inventory and stock room.
• Familiar with procedures performed and aware of dentist preferences.
• Provide patient care based on age‑related needs, developmental/psychosocial considerations, safety, educational needs, communication style, and level of understanding.
• Assist with patient transfer from bed to gurney.
• Decontaminate and maintain all equipment and instruments, and clean surgical rooms between cases and at the end of schedule per RN instructions.
• Follow manufacturer and CDC guidelines for decontamination and sterilization.
• Takes and checks x‑rays.
• Mix cement and other materials as required.
• Handle suction hand‑pieces and air/water syringes.
• Ensure delivery of all specimens to the RN circulator in the room.
• Stock and clean rooms between cases and at end of schedule.
• Assist with turnover of the OR and with emergency care as directed.
• Perform front desk duties and act as a patient service coordinator.

• High School Graduate or equivalent.
• Completion of an accredited Dental Assistant program.
• Current state license to practice as a registered dental assistant.
• One year of RDA experience.
• Current BLS certificate.
• Background and drug screening required.
