Solutions Specialist

Overview

Position Summary:

As a Solutions Specialist at BJU Press, the ideal candidate will play a supporting role on the Solutions team by answering inbound calls and emails related to order issues, conducting outbound calls related to order issues, providing resolutions to customer inquiries regarding exchanges, returns, issues, and communicating effectively with customers and territory managers.

• Communicate with customers about eligibility, refund timelines and any issues with returned items
• Provide necessary labels to ensure proper return for qualified orders
• Create claims with shipping provider when necessary
• Maintain email log for incoming urgent requests
• Ensure compliance with company policies are in place
• Maintain accurate records for all return requests and related transactions

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Experience in customer service returns
• Proficiency with Microsoft systems and office software
• Demonstrates patience and empathy along with an analytical, problem-solving mindset
• Strong team player

• Associate degree or 2 years related experience equivalent
• Knowledge of call center practices
• Strong verbal and written skills
• Flexibility to switch tasks when needed
• Ability to work independently
• Organizational skills and accuracy with numbers and details
