CHA Consulting, Inc. is seeking a Construction Manager to join our Water Team in Charlotte, NC or Greenville, SC and play a key role in delivering high‑quality, on‑site construction oversight. This is your opportunity to directly shape the success of our projects and the communities we serve by managing daily operations and maintaining strong client relationships.
What You'll Do- Lead day to day construction oversight to keep projects on schedule, within budget, and aligned with specifications
- Coordinate closely with contractors and clients to maintain communication, resolve issues, and ensure satisfaction
- Conduct regular site visits to verify compliance with plans, safety standards, and quality expectations
- Manage and document work orders, pay applications, and inspection reports with accuracy and timeliness
- Oversee project controls, schedules, and interdisciplinary coordination across teams
- Review change order requests, develop estimates, negotiate costs, and support stakeholders and regulatory engagement
- Associate's Degree in Engineering Science, Construction Services, or a related technical field required or equivalent combination of education and experience required;
Bachelor's Degree preferred - Minimum of 5 years of experience in construction management or a similar role required
- Valid driver's license required
- Strong understanding of construction processes, materials, and regulatory requirements
- Knowledge of construction safety and quality standards
- Strong proficiency with Microsoft Office and Excel required
- Excellent organizational, communication, and project management skills
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively across teams
- Strong problem‑solving and decision‑making abilities
- Proficiency with construction management software and tools preferred
- PACP (pipe), MACP (manhole), LACP (lateral) certifications preferred

Salary Range$110,000 - $120,000
Salary is based on a variety of factors, including, but not limited to, qualifications, experience, education, licenses, specialty, training, and fair market evaluation based on industry standards.
