Position:
Assistant Neighborhood Construction Manager (ANCM). Life as an ANCM is fast paced, exciting and different each day. You will be on site at your neighborhood before the usual office staff, serving as the second in command for quality control, scheduling contractors and trade installations, and keeping the site clean, safe, and efficient. You will be the right hand of your Construction Manager and play a key role in ensuring homes are built to our standards and delivered to home buyers on time.
Daily tasks include ordering building materials, reviewing and confirming selections for each home, and collaborating with the sales, purchasing, and construction teams throughout the building process to deliver each home to the homeowner.
- On-site support as the second in command for quality control, scheduling contractors and trade installations, and maintaining site safety and efficiency.
- Collaborate with Construction Manager to ensure homes are built to Stanley Martin standards and delivered on time.
- Order building materials and review selections for each home built.
- Build strong relationships with sales, purchasing, and construction teams to support a smooth homebuilding process.
- Must Haves:
- Eager to collaborate in a team environment
- Willingness to learn construction management skills
- Active listening, confidence, and respectful communication
- Customer service approach in previous work
- Ability to learn new technology quickly
- Ability to independently manage projects
- Proficiency with MS Office and other software systems
- Nice to Haves:
- College degree
- General understanding of the construction process
