Business Development Representative

We need the right people. Simple enough concept, not always easy to find! We are searching for an enthusiastic, dedicated, motivated, results-driven Business Development Representative (BDR) - preferably with experience in marketing, printing, or mailing. BDRs need a passion for B2B sales along with strong communication and negotiation skills. They are responsible for identifying and landing new business opportunities, nurturing client relationships, and driving overall sales growth.

BDR’s help new and existing customers grow their businesses using print, direct mail, signage and other printed products. Strong verbal and written communication skills are critical, along with being a creative prospector using multiple channels like networking, Linked In, email and the phone to reach targeted prospects and customers. This is a business development position and candidates should embrace a hunter mentality and be comfortable working hard to build a book of business.

Role:

  • Prospecting and networking to generate leads and set meetings to build a book of business.
  • Negotiate contracts and close deals while ensuring client satisfaction throughout the process.
  • Build and maintain strong internal and external relationships through excellent customer service and communication skills.

Requirements:

  • Self-motivated with a results-oriented mindset.
  • Hard-working and persistent.
  • Strong negotiation skills with a customer service orientation and the ability to build client rapport.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, especially effective listening
  • Work independently with minimal ongoing instruction, as well as part of a team environment.
  • Bachelor’s degree or 3+ years B2B Sales or B2B Customer Service experience
  • Background in printing, mailing and/or marketing is advantageous.
  • Valid driver's license, clean DMV record, background check and drug-screen required.
