PositionSummary
Bridge Brothers is seeking a Project Manager to own the execution of bridge manufacturing projects from sales handoff through engineering, fabrication, shipping, and closeout. This role is the central point of coordination across customers, engineering, fabrication, vendors, and internal leadership. The Project Manager is responsible for maintaining schedules, managing scope, ensuring quality, and driving projects forward with clarity and accountability. This role is based in Pickens, SC and does not require travel.
We’re looking for a self-starter who can lead with confidence, work closely with production teams, and continuously improve how work gets done—while still learning and growing.
- Project Ownership & Execution:
Own all aspects of the project lifecycle, from planning and budgeting through delivery and closeout - Develop and maintain project schedules, priorities, and execution plans
- Track scope, changes, and impacts to schedule or cost
- Ensure projects are completed accurately, safely, and on schedule
- Cross-Functional Coordination:
Serve as the primary point of contact between customers, engineering, fabrication, and leadership - Coordinate closely with engineers, shop leadership, and vendors to ensure alignment
- Review project specifications, drawings, and scope documents with customers
- Assign tasks based on team skill sets and monitor progress
- Quality, Cost &
Risk Management:
Ensure quality control standards are met throughout fabrication and delivery - Identify issues early and develop clear plans of action to resolve them
- Review budgets, time-and-material estimates, and cost impacts
- Recommend outside contractors or vendors when appropriate
- Communication & Documentation:
Communicate directly with customers regarding scope, deliverables, changes, and timelines - Maintain accurate documentation including work orders, invoices, timesheets, inspection reports, and repair documentation
- Coordinate shipment and delivery of finished products with shop and customer teams
- Hands-On Leadership:
Work side-by-side with shop and project teams as needed to support execution - Provide clear direction, remove obstacles, and reinforce accountability
- Support material takeoffs, material ordering, and supply coordination when required
- Perform other duties as assigned to support project success
- High school diploma or equivalent (required)
- Associate degree and 2+ years of manufacturing experience preferred
- 5+ years of project management experience, preferably in construction, manufacturing, or fabrication environments
- Strong understanding of drawings, specifications, and fabrication workflows
- Welding or hands-on fabrication experience strongly preferred
- Proven leadership ability with strong organizational skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Experience reviewing budgets, schedules, and cost impacts
- Comfortable working independently while leading cross-functional teams
- Familiarity with hand tools, electric tools, air-powered tools, and shop environments
Physical Requirements
- Combination of office and fabrication shop environments
- Frequent interaction with shop personnel and production teams
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs as needed
- PPE required and provided when in shop environments
