What your future day will look like
  • Welcoming clients, answering calls, and guiding Spanish?speaking visitors through next steps in a calm and reassuring way
  • Managing appointment schedules, updating internal notes, and routing inquiries to the right team member
  • Assisting with client intake, document organization, and keeping the front office running smoothly
  • Completing a two week onboarding period with the current receptionist to ensure a seamless handoff
  • Supporting case related tasks alongside attorneys, including preparing forms and updating case files
  • Learning the firm’s Microsoft based tools and immigration platform (eSerenade) to help support workflow during staffing transitions
  • Coordinating closely with the legal support team to maintain continuity as the office prepares for the onboarding of a new paralegal

Qualifications
  • Bilingual fluency in English and Spanish
  • Ability to pass a background and credit check (required for temporary contract hires)
  • Comfortable learning case management software and Microsoft Office tools
  • Interest in immigration law or prior exposure to legal documentation
