Armada Analytics is an independent provider of Commercial Real Estate Finance services. We offer commercial real estate underwriting, acquisition due diligence, asset management, zoning, loan closing, and insurance review services. The Zoning Analyst I is an important role within the Zoning department. The position entails working with city and county employees across the country confirming zoning designations, jurisdictions, and compliance. The position requires a high level of multi-tasking, organization, and an ability to stay on top of municipal contacts. The position requires critical thinking skills for completion of Zoning Compliance Reports as well as client communication skills while dealing with a variety of client types.

• Engagements of all zoning report types including standard zoning reports, renewal reports, and document retrievals, etc.
• Pull and review zoning code from public databases
• Interact with municipal zoning departments by phone and email to verify statuses regarding a property.
• Review municipal documents to ensure validity, correctness, and making sure they fully cover the property in question.
• Complete 5 Zoning Compliance Reports per week by analyzing property conformity
• Track results and answer inquiries of clients in proprietary system
• Other duties as assigned.

• Bachelor’s degree or comparable work experience required.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office including Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, and Excel
• Organized and detail oriented.
• Excellent organizational, communication (written and verbal) and presentation skills.
• Problem-solving skills to reflect level of responsibilities.
• Self-motivated and solutions-oriented approach

• 1-2 years of experience in commercial real estate or zoning analysis

Ability to interface with all levels of management. Excellent written and verbal communication skills given the need to communicate effectively in oral and written form with clients, property staff, colleagues, municipalities, and members of the real estate community. Passionate about culture; understands the significance of a company’s culture and its power to drive success. Self-starter and ability to work well individually and as part of a team.

Ability to work across disciplines to generate new processes and/or resolve issues. Strong work ethic and willingness to work extended hours when necessary. Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and the ability to set and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment. Excellent time management skills with an ability to meet deadlines and handle short time frames. Proven ability to successfully prioritize multiple tasks and allocate resources to meet goals.

Creative thinker with sound judgment. Proven ability to take initiative, think on your feet, and make thoughtful decisions. Highly effective project management and time management skills.
