Versailles Rehabilitation and Healthcare Center is seeking a dedicated and experienced Registered Nurse (RN) Assistant Director of Nursing (ADON) to join our leadership team. This key role supports the Director of Nursing in overseeing clinical operations, ensuring regulatory compliance, and maintaining the highest standards of resident care.

Position SummaryThe RN Assistant Director of Nursing (ADON) assists in planning, organizing, developing, and directing the overall operation of the Nursing Department in accordance with federal, state, and local regulations, as well as facility policies and procedures. The ADON helps ensure the highest degree of quality care is maintained at all times.
Key Responsibilities- Assist the Director of Nursing with daily clinical operations
- Support compliance with all federal, state (ODH), and local regulations
- Help oversee infection control, QAPI initiatives, and clinical quality measures
- Participate in staff development, mentoring, and performance management
- Assist with scheduling, staffing, and nursing coverage as needed
- Monitor documentation to ensure accuracy and regulatory compliance
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to promote optimal resident outcomes
- Participate in surveys and implement corrective action plans when required
- Serve as acting Director of Nursing in the DON’s absence
- Current, active RN license in the state of Ohio
- Minimum of 2–3 years of nursing experience in a skilled nursing or long-term care setting preferred
- Previous leadership or supervisory experience preferred
- Strong knowledge of state and federal regulations for long-term care
- Excellent communication, leadership, and organizational skills
- Ability to foster a positive and team-oriented work environment
