Wayne Health Care is seeking an experienced Director of Emergency Services to lead our Emergency Department and Clinical Decision Unit. This role provides strategic and operational leadership for a 24-hour department, with a strong focus on quality care, staff development, collaboration, and regulatory compliance.

The Director will work closely with physicians, nursing leadership, administration, and education to support high-quality emergency care while fostering a positive, team-oriented culture.

• Overseeing daily operations of the Emergency Department and Clinical Decision Unit
• Leading, developing, and evaluating nursing and support staff
• Managing department budgets, staffing, and scheduling
• Driving quality improvement, safety, and regulatory compliance initiatives
• Developing and implementing departmental policies and procedures
• Promoting collaboration across departments and with medical staff
• Supporting professional growth and continuing education for the team

• BLS and ACLS certifications
• Minimum of five years of Emergency Department experience
• Specialty certification in emergency services or related area preferred
