Airgas is seeking a high-energy, detail-oriented Distribution Manager to join our Greenville team. Your mission is the daily orchestration of our distribution engine, serving as the primary architect of our delivery routes and the direct leader for our driving team. You bridge the gap between complex logistics and superior customer service, ensuring trucks move efficiently while maintaining a safety-first culture. You also serve as the Branch Manager's right hand, stepping in to lead full site operations in their absence.

• Dynamic Route Engineering: Daily oversight of route planning to maximize stops and fuel efficiency. Pivot routes in real-time to accommodate emergency hot-shot deliveries or vehicle breakdowns.
• Fleet Performance Analytics: Utilize routing software to analyze driver behavior, idle times, and off-route miles to reduce operational costs.
• Driver Lifecycle Management: Lead the Morning Kickoff, conduct safety briefings, verify manifests, and ensure every driver is dispatched with a clear, optimized plan.
• Regulatory Command: Maintain 100% audit-ready status for all DOT filings, ELD logs, and Hazmat shipping papers.
• Equipment Readiness: Coordinate with the maintenance shop to schedule PMs so the Greenville fleet maintains maximum uptime.

• Command Continuity: Act as the Acting Branch Manager in the manager's absence, overseeing the warehouse, counter sales, and P&L integrity.
• Safety Culture: Lead the branch's Safety First initiative, ensuring the handling of high-pressure cylinders and cryogenic liquids is performed with zero compromise.
• Customer Liaison: Escalation point for delivery-related customer concerns, bridging driver experience and customer expectations.
