Overview

Position Summary... What you'll do... and recruiting and developing qualified associates to meet staffing needs and achieve company growth potential. Coordinates completes and oversees job related activities and assignments by developing and maintaining relationships with key stakeholders, supporting plans and initiatives to meet customer and business needs, identifying and communicating goals and objectives, building accountability for and measuring progress in achieving results, identifying and addressing improvement opportunities and demonstrating adaptability and promoting continuous learning.

Responsibilities
  • Provide supervision and development opportunities for associates by hiring and training, mentoring, assigning duties, providing recognition, and promoting a sense of belonging in the workplace.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures and support the company mission, values, and ethics by implementing related action plans and applying the Open Door Policy in business processes and practices.
  • Foster a culture of respect and inclusion, building high-performing teams, embracing differences, and creating opportunities for all associates to thrive and perform.
  • Build strong, trusting relationships, communicate with impact, energy, and positivity to motivate and influence.
  • Attract and retain talent, empower and develop team members, and recognize contributions and accomplishments.
  • Act with integrity by upholding the highest standards of ethics and compliance and supporting Walmart’s goal of becoming a regenerative company through positive impact for associates, customers, members, and the community.
  • Serve customers and members by delivering results, putting the customer first, and applying relevant business models to plans.

  • Drive continuous improvements, adopt new technologies and skills, and support others through change.
Qualifications
  • Minimum Qualifications: 2 years’ of college; OR 1 year’s retail experience and 1 year’s supervisory experience; OR 2 years’ general work experience and 1 year’s supervisory experience. For facilities that sell firearms, successful completion of a firearms-specific Criminal Background Check (CBC) and Firearms Authorized Training may be required. For facilities that sell only ammunition and have state-specific requirements, a current state-issued Certificate of Eligibility may be required.

    Associates will be required to attend and successfully complete all job-required trainings and assessments (e.g., Academy trainings, Open Door trainings).
  • Preferred Qualifications: Bachelor of Science in Business Management and Leadership through Live Better U and Bellevue University;
    Certificate of Completion in People and Business Leadership through Live Better U and Bellevue University;
    General work experience supervising 5 or more direct reports including performance management, mentoring, hiring, and firing.

The annual salary range is $65,000.00 - $80,000.00 with potential bonuses. Additional compensation may include regional pay differences and other position-based factors.
