🩺 About the Role
As a Registered Nurse I in our Hematology/Oncology department, you’ll be at the heart of patient care—supporting providers, educating patients, and ensuring every detail is handled with precision and empathy. You’ll work closely with physicians and fellow RNs to deliver care that’s not only clinically sound but deeply human.

What You’ll Do

Your day-to-day will include:

  • Assisting providers during office visits and procedures
  • Prepping exam rooms and supporting clinical procedures
  • Recording vital signs and patient histories
  • Administering injections, immunizations, and medications
  • Performing EKGs, wound care, and dressing changes
  • Educating patients and coordinating referrals
  • Managing prior authorizations and closing care gaps
  • Operating and cleaning medical equipment
  • Communicating lab results and handling patient calls
  • Practicing infection control and maintaining CPR certification
What You Bring
  • Graduate of an accredited nursing program
  • Active RN license in good standing with the NCBON
  • Experience with Electronic Medical Records (EMR/EHR)
  • Strong communication and active listening skills
  • Professional demeanor and respect for patient privacy
  • Ability to document accurately and clearly
Physical & Working Conditions

This role requires full-body mobility, occasional lifting (up to 100 lbs), and exposure to bodily fluids and communicable diseases. You’ll be working in a fast-paced clinic environment where your resilience and attention to detail truly shine.
