* 24 bed NSICU
* Supervising physician is an experienced neurointensivist
* 7 on / 7 off, 12 hour shift schedule

* Established clinical neuroscience team of 10 neurosurgeons, including dual-trained cerebrovascular specialists and 20 + neurologists including an interventional neurologist, 4 vascular neurologists, 4 neurointensivists, and 13 subspecialty neurologists.

ECU Health Physicians and ECU Health Medical Center are seeking a
** Physician Assistant or Acute Care Nurse Practitioner to join their Neurocritical Care team**. The successful candidate will perform admissions and discharges, histories, physical exams, ongoing patient assessments and management, daily rounding, and ICU procedures (arterial lines, central lines, lumbar punctures, and intubation). One year of critical care experience is required.
