Job DescriptionECU College of Business/Information and Technology Services is currently seeking several Student Technology Center Lab Technicians. Come work with us! The Student Technology Center is a team of varied individuals pursuing a variety of career paths. We are always searching for new and innovative ways to improve. We like to have fun! You will build your interrelationship skills working with and/or leading the Student Technology Center team in various projects and interacting with ECU College Of Business faculty/staff.
Job duties include but are not limited to:- Answering the switchboard telephone for the entire College of Business
- Providing Smart Classroom Support
- Performing software/hardware installs
- Troubleshooting for MAC and Windows
- Opening and closing the Student Technology Center
- Maintaining the Technology Center throughout the day
- Checking out equipment to students, faculty, and staff
- Providing PowerPoint Presentation support
- Directing Internal and External customers to correct departments
- Assisting staff with any other duties needed
- Providing general customer service
We are looking for individuals who have a great personality, exude leadership qualities, and have the ability to pick up new technology fast.
Please note:
You do not have to have technical experience to apply for this position. You have to be a full time (12 hours) undergraduate student enrolled in classes during fall and spring semesters.
