Overview
Position Summary:
This position will provide genetics counseling and appropriate follow-up to adult ECU Health Cancer Care (ECUHMC CC) patients.
Masters degree in Genetic Counseling is required- or higher.
Qualifications- Requires effective written and verbal communication skills.
- Requires strong organizational and interpersonal skills.
- Requires ability to work as a team member.
- Requires ability to take initiative and meet objectives.
- Requires independent judgment.
- Requires ability to manage projects.
- Requires knowledge of software applications.
Eligible within 1 year of employment, or Certified by the American Board of Genetic Counseling or American Board of Medical Genetics (ABGC / ABMG).
No substitutions.
Less than 1 year experience in Genetic Counseling internship is required.
Other academic institutions or pharmaceutical companies as genetics counselor is preferred.
Pay Range$68806.40 - $100294.48
Work InformationFull time with benefits - 40 hours per week
Day shift: 8am-5pm, Monday-Friday
No on-call or weekends
