Abound Health is looking for College Students in the Greenville area to provide Direct Support to individuals with Disabilities. This would be a rewrding part time postion to gain valuable experience in the Social Work/Social Services and Health Care Field. Specifically we are looking for individuals who would work 15-20 hours a week including some over night stays.

• Promote client outcomes in behavioral, social, and vocational realms
• Assist client participation in leisure/recreational activities
• Maintain a schedule of services/activities in a treatment plan and report on status of health and safety objectives
• Provide respite and companionship to offer relief to family or primary caregiver
• Complete and submit documentation and payroll data according to scheduled deadlines
• Complete initial and ongoing training and staff development activities
• Ability to achieve competency in required knowledge, skills, and abilities
• Ability to work independently in the community and/or the client’s home
• Willingness to address personal care needs when necessary, based on individual client needs
• Passion and experience working with individuals with Intellectual/Developmental Disabilities (I/DD) is preferred

Requirements:

• Must be at least 18 years old
• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Valid driver’s license, current automotive insurance, and reliable transportation
• Ability to pass criminal record, driving record, and healthcare registry checks
• Lifting may be required depending on individual client needs
• CPR/First Aid Certification Training is provided by company
