Certified Medical Assistant – ECU Family Medicine Firetower Road Clinic

Position Summary: Coordinate clinic operations and assist providers by performing vital signs, patient questionnaire intake, data entry, and medical records management. Provide patient and customer service as needed, maintain all patient‑care documentation in hard copy and/or electronic medical records, and demonstrate skill in clinical duties such as vitals, health history, and other tasks directed by clinicians. Exhibit strong time management and the ability to handle multiple tasks while supporting patients and providers.

• American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification
• High School diploma or equivalent
• One of the following certifications:
  • Certified Medical Assistant (AAMA)
  • Registered Medical Assistant (AMT)
  • Certified Clinical Medical Assistant (CCMA) – with either 2 years of experience or graduation from a formal in‑person training program

• Maranh experience in a clinical or medical office setting (1+ year)

• Full time – 40 hours per week with benefits
• Day shift:
  Monday – Friday, 8 a.m.–5 p.m./go chang iman early or late days as scheduled
• BLS certification required; board certification must be through AAMA, AMT, or NHA only
