Exciting Opportunity:
Nurse Practitioner - Acute Care, Physician Assistant - Urgent Care, Family Nurse Practitioner, and more
Join our dynamic healthcare team in a pivotal role that combines urgent and acute care expertise to deliver high-quality, compassionate care to diverse patient populations. As a vital member of our community-focused organization, you will be entrusted with managing a high volume of adult and pediatric patients (6 months and above) in a fast-paced environment, making a meaningful difference in people's lives.
What You'll Do:
- Provide comprehensive primary and urgent care to adults and children, including performing minor procedures such as I&D, lac repairs, and ear irrigations
- Work autonomously as the sole provider, demonstrating professionalism and clinical excellence
- Utilize Epic EMR system efficiently after training to ensure accurate charting and patient documentation
- Engage with supporting staff and patients with excellent soft skills and a positive attitude
- Meet credentialing standards and participate in onboarding and continuous training
- Minimum 12 months of clinical experience treating both adults and pediatrics
- Current board certification (e.g., BC, NCCPA, Family NP Cert)
- Valid BLS certification
- Proficiency in Epic EMR system
- Ability to work independently in a high-volume urgent care setting
- Strong soft skills for effective communication and teamwork
Skills:
- Experience with minor procedures and off-site support
- Prior experience working in urgent care or emergency environments
- Additional certifications related to advanced practice
Education and Experience:
- Master's degree or higher in nursing or physician assistant studies
- Active state licenses to practice as an NP or PA
- At least 12 months of relevant urgent care or acute care experience
- Availability to participate in mandatory EMR training sessions on scheduled Wednesdays
- Willingness to support multiple locations within a 60-mile radius from home residence
- No travel reimbursement; mileage only eligible
- Respecting all credentialing requirements for Medicare enrollment and compliance
- Must pass a clinical screening as part of the interview process
