Overview

Position Summary
Coordinate the Eastern Regional Advisory Committee (ERAC). Plan and conduct organizational, provider, and community education. Facilitate trauma performance for the region. Enhance communication and information sharing among trauma providers. Facilitate trauma research. Participate in the State Advisory Committee (STAC).

• Coordinate ERAC activities and support regional trauma initiatives.
• Plan and conduct education for organizations, providers, and the community.
• Facilitate trauma performance improvement and coordination within the region.
• Enhance communication and information sharing among trauma providers.
• Facilitate trauma research and participate in related projects.
• Participate in the State Advisory Committee (STAC).

• RN Applicants:
  Associate Degree in Nursing or Bachelor s degree in nursing required or higher. Current NC RN licensure is required.
• Paramedic Applicants:
  Associate in Applied Science with a concentration in Emergency Medicine Sciences required.
• Master s degree in nursing, education, health care administration or other health-related field desired. ~5 years experience may be substituted for Master s degree.
• Minimum of 6 years experience as a clinician in trauma units (ED, ICU, critical care transport program) with staff and leadership positions in trauma-related areas.
• Strong background in teaching/presenting.
• Experience functioning as committee chair or member.
• Experience coordinating research projects or grants.
• Experience participating in audit review processes.
• Experience with curriculum development and teaching desirable.
• Experience with performance improvement and quality data analysis.
• Pre-hospital provider experience strongly desired (previous or current).
• Strong verbal and written skills required.
• Current TNCC provider with instructor and coordinator status obtained within the first two years.

Pay Range: $75,857.60 - $. Final compensation will be based on career ladder placement.

• Position: 1.00 FTE, Outreach position requiring in-office work and outreach across 29 counties (EMS/Hospitals), simulations. Some early mornings, evenings, and occasional weekends.
