Travel Registered Nurse Orthopedics role at ECU Health

This is a 13‑week travel nursing position located in Greenville, North Carolina.

Base pay range

Up to $63/hour with additional overtime and holiday rates.

Job Description & Requirements

  • Travel nurse RN orthopedics for ECU Health Level I Trauma Center
Unit Details
  • 32‑bed flex unit
  • Staffing ratio: 1:4 RN‑to‑patient
  • Primary population: patients requiring thoracotomies, amputations, weight‑loss surgery, joint replacement, orthopedic trauma, abdominal surgeries, complicated appendicitis or gallbladder surgeries; trauma overflow patients may also be admitted.
Minimum Requirements
  • Diploma in Nursing, Associates in Nursing or higher;
    Bachelor’s Degree preferred.
  • More than 1 year of nursing experience.
  • American Heart Association Basic Life Support certification.
Compensation Package
  • Base pay: up to $63/hour for all travel nursing positions.
  • 1.5x base hourly rate for overtime (over 40 hours) and holiday pay.
  • Additional $3.00/hour for stand‑by pay and $2.00/hour for charge/preceptor pay.
