Laboratory Intern
Position Summary
- 100% on-site
The Laboratory Intern provides introductory exposure to the overall function of a commercial laboratory through partnerships with laboratory chemists in the execution of daily laboratory testing and tasks.

- Maintain data integrity and employ good documentation practices when performing experiments.
- Compare laboratory data against specifications where applicable to determine if results meet requirements.
- Ensure proper usage, care, and return of calibration standards including, but not limited to, reference standards,
timers, thermometers, and instrumentation. - Ensure accuracy of testing by following method/standard instructions and adhering to internal SOPs to eliminate the potential for repeat testing, deviations, and investigations.
- Enter data into established reports/templates or software-based systems.
- Adhere to assignments and execute under the guidance of a mentor.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Current or recent enrollment in an undergraduate or graduate degree program in Biology, Chemistry, Biochemistry, Biotechnology, or related discipline.
- Must be located within 50 miles of the Greenville, North Carolina, site to be considered.
