Organizational Unit Overview: The Center for STEM Education is seeking to hire a Floater for the Summer Ventures Camp in a temporary, time limited, non‑teaching position with availability from July 3, 2026 through July 25, 2026.
Job Duties:
- Assist the Residence Life Director, Summer Ventures Director, Residence Life Advisors with supervision, guidance, organization, planning, and activities for approximately 50 academically successful high school juniors and seniors. Provide support in organized activities and fill in where necessary. (
Administration – Planning and Organization (20%)) - Assist with camp preparation and support under the supervision of the Residence Life Director and Summer Ventures Director. (
Management – Staff Assistance (80%))
Hours per week: approximately 20-25 hours, primarily afternoon/evening hours on weekdays and daytime on some weekends.
Minimum Education /
Experience:
High School Diploma
License or Certification Required by Statute or Regulation: Valid NC Driver’s License
Preferred Experience , Skills, Training/
Education:
Experience in instruction and/or program development/organization is desired.
