* Hospital privileges at ECU Health Medical Center, a 974-bed academic medical center and home to the James and Connie Maynard Children’s Hospital, and at the nearby ECU Health Behavioral Health Hospital
* Academic appointment with the Department of Behavioral Health and Psychiatry at East Carolina University’s Brody School of Medicine
* Typical day starts at 8 am and ends at 5 pm (M-F) primarily inpatient
* Provider supervises residents and/or may provide consultation services at ECU Health Medical Center and the Emergency Department.
* Physician will have oversight to up to 2 residents on the unit with a capacity maximum of 24 beds
* On call is phone only nights and weekends
* Referral network includes 29 county service area with a population of 1.4 million people

Through a joint venture with Acadia Health, we have broken ground on a new 144-bed behavioral health hospital, scheduled to open in 2025. The facility will offer comprehensive treatment for adults, seniors, children and adolescents who struggle with acute symptoms of mental health such as anxiety, depression, bipolar disorder and schizophrenia. Of the 144 inpatient beds, 24 will be dedicated to serving the behavioral health needs of children and adolescents – the only such beds within 75 miles of Greenville.##
