The 206,499 square foot 198-bed facility provides highly specialized services including a pediatric intensive care (PICU), neonatal intensive care (NICU), kids immunosuppressed specialty unit (KISU), specialty care nursery, mother-baby unit, pediatric ECMO services, 24/7 children’s emergency department, acute dialysis and continuous renal replacement therapy (CRRT), pediatric radiology, pediatric rehabilitation, general surgery, cardiovascular surgery, neurosurgery, and craniofacial surgery.  The James and Connie Maynard Children’s Hospital at ECU Health Medical Center is a designated Children’s Miracle Network hospital, placing it among the nation’s top children’s facilities.##

ECU Health Physicians and East Carolina University’s Brody School of Medicine, Department of Pediatrics, are seeking a full-time BE/BC
* Pediatrician* to join their growing General Pediatrics Division located in Greenville, North Carolina. The successful candidate will provide direct outpatient clinical care as well as exemplary medical education/training of physicians in pediatric medicine at the undergraduate and graduate levels.

Opportunities exist for physicians with special interests in joining established programs and/or creating new ventures in adolescent medicine, behavior and development, youth mental health, obesity care, sports medicine, acute care, care of children with complex conditions, child advocacy, child maltreatment and other areas of specialization.

* Schedule:

Monday-Friday 8am-5pm with after hours clinic 1-2 times a month
* Outpatient only clinical responsibilities
* Academic responsibilities will include precepting residents in established pediatric residency program
