Conference Assistant

Duties & Responsibilities – Hourly Rate
  • Inspect rooms prior to and after conferences, including distribution and collection linen
  • Manage meal cards, parking passes, and key inventory for summer guests
  • Perform summer camp and conference check‑in and check‑out duties
  • Utilize Iris software to track damages, lost keys, and other details important to camps and conferences
  • Hourly Rate: $10.00 per hour
Conference Assistant

Duties & Responsibilities – Pay and Housing Accommodations
  • Inspect rooms prior to and after conferences, including distribution and collection linen
  • Manage meal cards, parking passes, and key inventory for summer guests
  • Perform summer camp and conference check‑in and check‑out duties
  • Utilize Iris software to track damages, lost keys, and other details important to camps and conferences
  • Be available in the evenings, weekdays and weekends, in the residence halls to help ensure safety/security of buildings and our camp participants
  • $500 bi-weekly, gold bucks, single room accommodation – depending on the needs of the conference program
Conference Assistants must also:
  • Report and follow‑up on maintenance and housekeeping concerns as needed
  • Serve as positive University representatives on and off campus as well as online
  • Provide excellent customer service to camp and conference guests at East Carolina University
  • Participate in departmental initiatives
  • Understand and enforce University policies and procedures appropriately
  • Other duties as assigned
