Security Officer

Responsibilities

• Observing, patrolling the interior and exterior of the property.
• Vigilant in detecting suspicious behavior and preventing incidents.
• Assist visitors and guests by providing directions or information, contributing to a positive environment while maintaining security.
• Manage entry and exit points, ensuring that only authorized individuals are allowed access to the property, including checking identification.
• Provides escort for slot drop, stand-by, etc. as needed.
• Responsible for maintaining any disturbances and the property safe, including documenting incidents in detailed reports.
• Effective communication and a keen eye for detail.
• Standing for long periods and responding quickly to incidents.
• Performs any other duties as assigned by the manager or supervisor.

• Must be 21 years of age or older
• Proficient in English verbal and written
• Flexible to work various shifts, weekends, and holidays
• Must be able to obtain a Mississippi Gaming Badge.
• Must have a high school diploma or equivalent.
