Shift Lead – Walgreens

Join the team as a Shift Lead at Walgreens.

$17.00/hr – $20.00/hr

• Open and close the store, ensuring all systems are started up, cash handled, floor and stockroom ready.
• Handle product returns, order voids, customer refunds, cash drops to the safe, and provide change.
• Provide a distinctive and delightful customer experience, engaging customers and resolving issues.
• Assume key holder responsibilities including holding and operating store keys.
• Assist and coach team members with vendor deliveries and order processing.
• Register all sales, manage scans, price verifications, errors, and voids, and reconcile registers.
• Support managerial duties such as reviewing order exceptions, reverse logistics, display setup, and inventory counts.
• Maintain accurate inventory and execute the Outdate program.
• Perform basic department pricing, signage, and compliance with local regulations.
• Assist with bookkeeping including cash reports, ledgers, and bill payment.
• Maintain store appearance, exterior/interior maintenance, and facility repairs.
• Separation of food items, product placement, and stock rotation.
• Work with pharmacy out window when requested.
• Ensure compliance with state/law on regulated products.
• Conduct bag checks before employees leave.
• Communicate with management, report disciplinary issues and complaints.
• Complete special assignments and training (PPLs, required trainings).

• Attend training and complete required PPLs.

• One year previous leadership, supervisory, or retail key holder experience.
• Fluency in reading, writing, and speaking English.

• Knowledge of store inventory control.
• Valid PTCB certification or pharmacy license, if required.
• Consideration for applicants with arrest/conviction records.
