Position: ER Physicians - Nurse Practitioner / Physician Assistant

Insures and demonstrates advanced nursing skills in assessing, diagnosing, and managing clients in the primary care clinic using protocols established in cooperation with the collaborating physician and approved by the Board of Nursing.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Possession of a current Mississippi RN licensure, Master’s degree or current Mississippi Physician Assistant licensure.
  • Certification as Family/Pediatric Nurse Practitioner by the American Nurse Credentialing Committee (ANCC).
  • Prepared by education, training and experience to work with adult patients.
  • BLS Certification required.
  • Ability to manage multiple patients simultaneously, ages infant to geriatric.
  • Fast paced environment.
