Delta Health System is seeking a Scheduler to complete a thorough and full patient registration via telephone contact with the patient, guarantor, or referring provider prior to the patients arriving for their outpatient clinic, testing or surgery appointment.
Qualifications- High School diploma or equivalent required
- Previous clinical background preferred, such as Radiology Tech
- One or more years’ experience in a patient access role preferred
- Typing/computer skills necessary; minimum of 35 wpm required
- Knowledge of Medical Insurance
- Excellent telephone etiquette/communication
- On the job training may be required after being hired, along with continuing educational requirements to maintain employment
