Position:
Personal Care Services at Delta Health System - The Medical Center
. This role assists patients with activities of daily living, provides basic nursing care to non-acutely ill patients, and helps maintain a safe and clean environment. On-the-job instruction relative to patient needs and continuing in-service training ensure patient safety and that personal care and homemaking needs are met. A high school diploma or equivalent is required.

• Assist patients with activities of daily living and provide basic nursing care to non-acutely ill patients.
• Help maintain a safe and clean environment for patients.
• Participate in on-the-job instruction and continuing in-service training to address patient needs and ensure safety.

• Certified Nursing Assistants:
  Completion of a certified home health aide course; passing score on the Certified Registry; certified by the State Department of Health Services; current BLS.
• Personal Care Assistants:
  Must provide a 40-hour training certificate; current BLS.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
